Hi Maryamnaz. I do gentle yoga asanas now and couldnโt get by without it. On days when I just donโt have the energy, I practice Yoga Nidra and get such positive benefits. I honestly believe I would be far worse off without yoga. Wishing you well๐
Thank you for sharing your experiance .with gentle Hatha yoga or yoga therapy I font think so that .you will have any issues .yes specially in the last part Shavasana you will get a lot of energy.
Just dont push your body and be sure that you will do it with an expert person.๐๐๐
I had to quit my yoga class as couldn't do the hour so now do it at home for less time when not in so much pain.
Have just cancelled my gym subscription as just can do it anymore without it causing a bad flare up which lasts for weeks. I hate having to give in to fibromyalgia as I love all forms of exercise. I now try to attend my Tai chi class weekly and do practice this at home for a few minutes at a time because keeping mobile is important and helpful for this condition especially if you are older. I am 75 and struggling to keep my head above the water at present.
Hi Maryammaz! First of all excuse me for spelling mistakes, I'm not a native English speaker I don't live in the UK anymore ( live in Brazil) , but I found these fรณruns help me cope with the anxiety of the new world of fibromyalgia and menopause have imposed on me. I suppose both kind of came hand in hand in my case. the doctor confirmed there may be a link... It started with increasing insomnia and ...to shorten a long story - I was told these symptoms were due to menopause ( I am 50 ). I stopped the pill and hoped for the best, then, in december I noticed feelin too tired and painfull and only slept a few hours at night. did exams and went to the reumatologist who diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. I started hormone replacement two weeks ago as I am not able to cope with the insomnia ( caused by menopause) and now this. THe fadigue and pain in my legs and body in general is taking all my energy...I am giving away to the antidepressant the reumatologist prescribed as cannot spend more nights sleepless and days in pain. I have been told this can go away, and I certainly hope so... I wanted to share this with you and ask if anybody here was prescribed any drugs for this condition?
