Hi
They were talking about it on this morning, saying it's very good. Holland and Barrett £12.99
Please take care
Lynne xx
Thank you Lynne I didn't see that as was at work. Coincidence that I asked lol. Hope you are well? 😉
I watch the programme and thought it was interesting. I am going to talk about it to my doctor on Tuesday. I think I did read on her that someone was trying it.
Nel
Hi Nel I'm seeing my GP later this afternoon. I'm asking too. Thank you for replying. Take care 😉
Good afternoon, hope you are having a good day.
I am interested in how you got on at the doctors, I have an OP visiting on Monday morning. Not sure what they can do.... but I feel I have been listened to forthe first time in ages.

Hi Nel
I had to cancel my appointment as my granddaughter has had to come to.our local A & E. Now going on sunday morning but its with a locam. Have a good week end
Oh dear hope all getting sorted with your granddaughter. Good luck with your appointment. Look after yourself.

I have been using it as a vaporiser, Medipen. With me It has helped ease the pen and has helped me relax. When I told my doctor I had been using it he was fine and said 'if it helps & it is legal then try anything that you think may help you' Good luck xx
Hi Clare thank you for replying. Interesting that it works for you. Take care 😉
Not heard of that brand. I had two samples from CBD Brothers and they worked really well. Bought 2 bottles from Simply CBD and they do absolutely nothing. Supposed to be same strength. It's always worth a try but not cheap.
Hi Holly
That's an odd thing to happen if same strength. Ive its not cheap but desperate for something to take the edge off as finding work hard and even harder getting out of bed in the morning. Take care 😉
Cbd Brothers Have Indica oil white Red and Black and they are the vest for fibromyalgia and suffers and a top quality flower oil
I use it as an oil, vape and cream. Trial and error to find a brand /strength that works best for me.... Lot of poor quality being sold for high prices, so do your homework before buying.
CBD bros and cheds are 2 of my favourite suppliers.
Doesn't take pain away completely but does help to take the edge off xxx
Hi Hazel
Thank you for reply I shall look at them later. I only want something to take the edge off it. if it does then thats great Take care 😉
I can only say Beware of The Famous High Street shop brands, they have a Prime Location on our High Streets they are not struggling for business because people like us trust their products,, I wouldnt give them any of my money, read the contents carefully on whatever you buy from them, most is additives that can cause allergies and side effects which take quite a while to recover from. None of their stuff is dangerous but its a big rip off.
Thank you x
Hi, Daffodil64. I've been using CBD Oil in various forms for over 2 years now, and it's helped me quite a bit. I find that Simply CBD works for me.
Hi I think SimplyCBD was on Good Morning. Please can I ask who you use the oils. And do you use anything else?
Nel
Hi, I use the oil sublingually but you can make your own capsules if you don't like the taste, although you will absorb less CBD this way. I've used CBD paste from Holistic Hemp Scotland, and that's good too. You can get CBD balms which have helped some people (not me) and edibles as well. I drink hemp tea from Zennon Hemp Farm which is also high in CBD, CBDa and CBG. It's all trial and error as to what works for you personally, but Simply CBD have a Facebook group which gives great advice, so take a look at that. I hope this helps a bit. X
Thank you x
Hi thank you x
I'm on blood thinners and have been told not to use these products as they can enhance the effects. So always check with your pharmacist or doctor if you are taking other medication that it is safe.
Brilliant stuff! I get quite evangelical about CBD oil as I've been on it 11 months and its been amazing for my pain.I'm not pain free by any means and I get flare ups when nothing works like today-but on the whole my overall pain management is good. I'd encourage anyone to try it. If folks poopoo the H&B brand ingore them. Its a perfectly legit brand with Third party lab reports. There are rules for starting CBD oil, building up and working around meds. I put some info up on another post a fe weeks back so have a searhc or I'll post them again if you wish
I'm undiagnosed but suffer with fatigue and a fair bit of pain along with peripheral neuropathy. I tried CBD a while back but found it didn't really help. I did read that you need to titrate up the number of drops but I got to a stage where I was a bit drowsy, although it might have been down to amitriptyline so not the best conditions to genuinely gauge it's effects. I think I was up to about 12 drops twice a day. It also costs a fair bit too.
It doesn't taste too nice so I always had it with food to try and hide the flavour.
Good luck with it
Hi Rheadster, I’ve produced a sheet of hints and tips on how to get the best from CBD, which is regularly updated. How and when you take it can make quite a difference.
Let me know if you would like a copy and I’ll send it to you via Health Unlocked.
Thank you x
Looks like a very interesting time head.... with CBD been highlighted more and more.
Pleased it works for you,
Please would you put the infro up again, I am very interested.
Thanks in advance Nel.
Can you use CBD if you are already on antibepressants
CBD can enhance the way the way the body metabolizes prescription meditation, which in turn increases the risk of side effects. It’s important to talk to your pharmacist or doctor first about this, as I’m not a Healthcare professional, so I can’t advise you.
If they say it’s ok, start with one drop of CBD and slowly increasing to two drops. Stop immediately, if you notice any side effects.
Research on mice showed CBD had antidepressant effect similar to Imipramine. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/200...
Hi Daffodil64, I’ve been using CBD for several years, after I had to come off my fibro meds. I’m currently using Aqua Full Entourage from Simply CBD and had no problems with it.

Hi Rosey yes please I would love a copy thank you x
Hi Daffodil64, I’m just updating it at the moment, I’ll send you a copy hopefully, tomorrow. Roses x
Hi Roseyinthegarden
I am very interested in trying CBD, feeling nervous about it, not knowing where best to purchase it and how to use it.... please would you share your info with me?
Regards Nel
Hi daffodil64. Yes along with Hazel_angelstar I have found that CDB does take the edge off the pain on a daily basis (less of that constant "it is always THERE!" aches, and most importantly, I've not had a seriously painful flare up since last March when I first started taking it (ie not lying in a wimpering heap like someone is sticking knitting needles in all my muscles.) It isn't a cure...still need pacing, adequate rest, amitriptyline at night, and paracetamol if things go wrong. But as you say it takes the edge off, which is more than welcome. I buy mine from Healthspan on line, Superstrength capsules (no nasty taste) are £5 off at the mo, £27.95 for 30, £54.95 for 60. Last time I compared prices Holland and Barratt were about the same. With money off vouchers online and ones which Healthspan send every few weeks I rarely pay full price.
Thank you x
Hello Daffodil64,
I have been recommend this, so contacted Alternative choices on Facebook. They have CBD oil at a strength of 35%, was sent a sample which arrived this morning.
Normally when I have done a long shift at work I can barely walk let alone leave the house, but I put 4 x drops under my tongue and a few hours later was able to go for a mooch around my local town. So I would say worth a try, only time will tell for me. Maybe a coincidence but it's been a long time that I've been able to do that. So hopefully not.
Andrea
