I buy mine from CBD brothers and Cheds. Xxx

Hi you can buy it in Holland & Barratt. It's not a high percentage (just take more droplets) but it's still worth a try for £15 upwards, rather than forking out loadsa money for the stronger ones. It takes disgusting tho! Good luck

Try putting it on a piece of chocolate or something else with a strong taste, such as fruit. Alternatively, an aqua form of CBD can be added to drinks, which masks the taste.

It may be worth you taking a look at Simply CBD, they have stronger CBD at very reasonable prices.

I see you know quite a lot about CBD oil I have been told it can make your heart race and it is also a blood thinner and as I have afibrillation I’m on a bp drug and an anticoagulant Apixaban I’m nervous to start taking it I want it for my peripheral neuropathy pain

As I mentioned in the guide, I’m not a healthcare professional so I can’t give you advice you regarding your medical conditions.

It is true that CBD can cause your to heart race which can cause feelings of anxiety, particularly if the dose is too high. Some people find capsules work better for them as they work more slowly, while some use a skin balm. I’m not suggesting that you should try either of these methods.

You could try searching Health Unlocked or joining the Facebook CBD Users Group (linked in the guide above), to find other people with the same medical conditions, who may be better able to help you.

The MHRA forbids CBD suppliers to give out information on doses and uses and pharmacists and GP’s often know little, if anything about it. It would still be worth asking your GP or cardiologist, as you may have one who is well informed.

Being a risk adverse person, I would suggest you take a very cautious approach and start by reading relevant research on Green Med Info and Project CBD and asking the CBD Users Group. If in doubt, don’t take it.

Hi

I find this very informative, thank you,😊 iam thinking about trying CBD oil, and have been trying to find a good company, CBD brothers was recommended to me, what size of bottle should I use to last me a month...

Bemoresquirrel profile image
Bemoresquirrel in reply toBronx19

It will depend on how much you use, but 10ml should last you a month.

I’ve had a serious health issue unrelated to fibro that is extremely painful, so rather than take opioids, I have increased my dose. 10ml of Aqua 400 Full Entourage CBD is currently lasting 3 weeks. I’m also taking turmeric and curcumin capsules and ashwaganda to reduce the inflammation.

How much pain relief you will get is a very individual thing, but you will probably need to use a range of coping strategies.

They come in 10ml bottles that should last u about 6 weeks.

It about £70. Not cheap but u get what u pay for

Bemoresquirrel in reply toLulububs

If it works for you that’s great! For anyone concerned about the price, you can get a good quality CBD for around £15 for 10ml.

The Simply CBD’s Aqua 200 Full Entourage is £18 for 10ml and the high strength 400 that I use is £25, which is the price of their most expensive oil. Aqua products are stronger than oil, as more is absorbed.

CBD Brothers have some expensive high strength products, but I would only use them for a potentially life limiting condition, due to the cost.

Thats why i pay 70quid as i get the 3000 strength so it pretty potent stuff. The lower strength ones never worked for me so had to up strength

I’m glad you’ve found one that works for you, as that’s the hard part! The 3000 strength from CBD Brothers is indeed pretty potent stuff!

Following a significant injury caused by an accident, I also needed to take quite a bit of the lower strength oil, so swapped to the water based Aqua 400 Full Entourage. Due to the more efficient absorption rate, it is 10 x stronger than the standard oil. At £25 for 10ml, it’s a good solution for me.

There will be a type of CBD out there to suit most people and for the majority, it probably won’t need to be expensive.

Yeh i only use the strong one as i had a accident and herniated two disc in my back plus i have a degenerative hip desease so it helps with pain ..

I dont want to take meds so if i can do it naturally i would rather do that.

With help from osteo it getting better now though so hardly use it

Great to hear that it’s healing, that is good news, back injuries really are a pain! I have a substantially fractured L3 vertebrae, which is refusing to heal, along with a degenerative disc. I also crushed my leg 5 months ago in an accident and that’s still healing. Add in widespread tendinitis and fibromyalgia and the CBD is doing a good job! I came off all my fibro meds’ last year and rely on CBD, turmeric/curcumin and ashwaganda. Natural is definitely better for me, but it’s probably not for everyone.

I got some free samples from CBD brothers, worth joining their social media sites or try a nice email to them enquiring about samples.

I didn't notice any difference but it's worth a try.

A lot depends on how you take it, but it is also a very individual thing, a different type may be better for you. Some people need to take it for several weeks before they notice a difference, while others notice it straight away. It’s worth experimenting and for some it doesn’t work. I written a basic guide to using CBD, let me know if you would like a copy.

I don't live in the UK just wanted to comment that where I live in the States (Massachusetts) both medical and recreational marijuana is legal and there is a shop about 1 mile from my home that sells CBD. I haven't tried it yet but I have heard people with chronic pain have benefitted greatly.
