Hey folks!! So 11 days ago I had my pip assessment, yesterday I had a lovely large sum put in my account from PIP. Today I received my award notice, just scraped daily living needs at standard rate and NO mobility award. I have assistance from social services in the form of a personal budget for a PA as I cannot manage, if I leave the house ( which is very rarely) I use crutches as I struggle walking, due to pain, dizziness balance issues and overwhelming fatigue. Angry is not the word but at least I’ve been awarded something which is a platform to fight from. Luckily I recorded the assessment, half of what the assessor has reported is nonsense. So Monday il be getting my PA to call for the full assessment report and using fightback4justice to assist with mandatory reconsideration. I’ve have several ailments that have left me with barely any life mentally and physically. I will not give up, the fight is on
PIP!!! Grrrrr: Hey folks!! So 11 days... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
PIP!!! Grrrrr
What a leftie down i hope you get all what you are entitled to when you go for your appeal all the very best
Good luck with your appeal.
Was the assessor aware you were recording the assessment - had you sought permission beforehand? If not, the recording won't be acceptable at an appeal. xx
disgraceful, good luck with appeal. I've got a Pip assessment on Tuesday. I'm recording it. I've informed them.
I am glad you feel so angry about the decision that you are prepared to fight the lies and deceit
Why the hell should they make you jump through hoops , unfortunately some people who get some part of he award are frightened to fight incase they lose that amount as well, the system knows that and preys on vulnerable people
So I am glad you are going to get on your chariot like Bodiccia and take them on!
AND YOU WILL WIN,and they must know by the staggering amount of tribunals that assessors lie to save money
I am like you , stand up to them!
Thankyou so much for the support I think some people are just grateful to be awarded anything and take it as gospel that’s what they’re entitled to. Yes I went the proper route with the recordings thank god, was very careful from the start and did all my homework x
Good luck Ann xx
That was a quick response from the DWP, albeit not what you hoped for. I had my assessment two weeks ago and was advised by the assessor that the likelihood is that I’ll have to wait longer than 6 weeks for the outcome of the assessment. Good luck!
Good luck with the MR! I keep being told not to bother recording my assessments because they won't accept them unless you have them transcribed? I don't know how true that is but I'm going to be recording them anyway.
Keep us posted, please.
Good for you , don't let them win.
Best wishes
