Reflexology in fibro
Hi Jemima,
Yes, I have tried reflexology and yes it has helped. I have it regularly, along with hot stone massages and/or aromatherapy massages and I find them all helpful. I always feel less pain, relaxed and sleep better after any of the treatments I've mentioned. x
Thank you M, I have had 3 sessions to help with conception (did the trick 😊) so was thinking about it for the pain as it targets specific areas so can target wherever is worst that week. I will give it a go 😊
Hi Jemima, yes I have. I am a reflexologist so have tried it many times, it’s great when your not suffering with to much pain in your feet.
If you can soak your feet in hot water with some Epsom salts in, dry your feet and put them into bags with olive oil, grape seed oil, or oil of your choice, leave them in the bags and wrap them in towels for a while to keep warm, When you take them off gently rub in the oil. If your feet are aching and painful rub in a little Vic and put cotton socks on, This is good before you go to bed.
Even better if you purchase a pr of electric boots....think they sell them at Argos?? Put them on when you have put the bags on your feet, you may want to put Cotten socks on over the bags first as the get quite warm.
You can buy large tie bags from most supermarkets, I know Asda sells them.
Hope that’s been useful. Enjoy
Thank you
Hello Jemima, I have regular Reflexology sessions, and find the treatment really helps with my Fibromyalgia symptoms. Hope you get the same results.
Best wishes x
i hate anyone touching my feet, so although i've tried reflexology a couple of times its not really for me ... but i think that complementary therapies definitely help - just a shame they are not available on prescription so we could afford them more often xxx
