Hi all, wondered if anyone had any advice or experience to share. I try to avoid ironing at all costs as it is too physical - even just getting the ironing board out! However there are just some things for work I can't get away with not ironing. Does anyone have experience of using a clothes steamer instead? Thinking of getting a little hand-held one to go over things quickly if they really need it.
Thanks!

Hi, I have the same problem with ironing and I tried a small steamer but it was no good. Someone told me about hanging your clothes in the bathroom while having a bath /shower. I must admit I haven't tried it, since retirement my hubby does it. I hope someone comes along with more helpful information
Yes I agree. My tumble dryer has reverse action and if I take the washing out and hang/fold as soon as drying finishes it doesn't need ironing. Your body heat moulds the clothes to the shape of your body within a few minutes of getting dressed anyway so by the time you get to work it shouldn't make any difference.
I hadn't used my iron for 7 years so I took it to the tip 2 years ago 😂 it was liberating and I have never needed it or wished I'd kept it. I highly commend it to everyone and today is Sunday, best day to take old rubbish to the tip and the day of rest. What more excuse do you need?
Throwing the wrinkled article of clothing in the dryer with a wet wash cloth and turning on the dryer will take the winkles out. Someone shared it with me years ago and I have done this on several occasions. I’ve do recall using a streamer iron years ago. I no longer have the streamer iron so I guess it didn’t work for me for what ever reason.
