extreme cramping
Warm Magnesium salt baths or Magnesium oil rubbed on muscle’s that are cramping.
I have this very same issue and really felt like I was losing my mind as I knew for 7 yrs there was something wrong. I also suffer the extreme cramping all over my body and wake up 3-4 times a night screaming and crying in pain . The cramping that wakes me up several times a night is mainly in my leg calves, thighs most recently my shins, so much so that I and on my tip toes as I literally cannot put my foot flat on the floor without forcing it and the pain is incredible. I also suffer with sever night sweats but really thought it was caused by menopause and I am 48 and in full blown menopause as well that also causes night sweats and may be a combination of the two. Thought for a long time I was going crazy as there is not one part of my body that does not hurt on a daily basis and I always in pain somewhere
Sorry to hear you're suffering. I can't read all replies. I've tried Magnesium 300-600mg daily, as advised by a doctor friend of mine. 300 worked like a miracle. Only figured it out when I forgot to take it for few weeks!
Hope you find a remedy. ❤️ Blessings
Hi I’ve just woke up this morning been exactly same as you I thought this morning it’s so painful I thought I couldn’t get out of bed so put off the pain of getting out of bed. Cause I knew those first few steps would be agony. It’s rediculous how much pain Fibro can cause. But I’m up now taken my tablets and am going to face another day 😏
i get cramps in my fingers and calfs of my legs it sometimes lasts all day
Cramping of muscles with tight knots sounds like Myofascial Pain Syndrome (MPS) that often accompanies Fibromyalgia unfortunately. Sometimes having Myofascial release massage (which is a Complementary Therapy) by a qualified professional helps reduce the pain. I used to take Diazepam or Buscopan prescribed for GP for this and taking only if the pain from MPS was really bad. Hope this helps
hi,make a diary of when you get the cramps, I got them every 4 weeks for a week & due to the menopause. I am on Quinine tablets from the dr. and now I know when to take them so cramp free now. Wish I could get rid of the night sweats though.
Quinine is great for cramps. Tonic water has the substance or if not quinine sulphate pills. I have had the pills for 5 years and my cramps are no way as bad as before. Gentle hugs.
