Does Dosulepin make you dopey the next day?

Hi i take 1 dosulepin 75mg and 2 gabapentin 300mg about 8pm every night and feel ok in the morning but i do need to judge my timing on what im doing the next day, say i forget to take them till 9-10pm i feel more sleepy in the morning and if im getting up earlier in the morning i will take my meds about 7pm the night before , its all trial and error to suit your lifestyle.

Hi my husband takes it too and in the morning he is a bit out of it till he comes round .

I'm not on it, but I don't sleep more than 3 hours at some point between 0300 and 0800 and 12.5mg of Amitriptyline makes me less than useless the following day. I thought it might be worth a try if it doesn't do that.

I'm not on it, but I thought it might be worth a try if it doesn't knock you out all day. I don't get any side effects from anything, never have, so I don't know why Amitriptyline knocks me sideways

hi, again i would say its all down to timing i work part time but need to be up to take hubby to work and son to school and i would not drive if meds left me feeling not 100%. x .
