More advice needed again, at this silly time in the morning. I’ve just woke up again in so much pain in my right leg and arm that I’m convinced I can’t have fibromyalgia, it must be something worse, I’m sure I have a blood clot, my fingers are completely numb, I’ve always been a sensible, no nonsense girl, but I am so irrational and my anxiety is out of control. I’m worried I’m going to die, I’m scared and very emotional, is this normal when you’re first diagnosed with Fibro, or am I completely losing the plot????

No this does sound like Fibro, I can wake up and actually be stuck in one position due to the amount of pain. Sending gentle hugs 🤗

No, you're not losing the plot. My left foot is constantly numb due to trigger points in my left calf which do not ever give up, and right now I can barely use my left arm, fingers are tingly, because of same in left shoulder and elbow. It's in the muscles and tendons, quite amazing the amount of pain they can cause. It couldn't hurt to get checked out for other causes if you're concerned, but it's very likely to be the fibro. This condition tends to send your rationality out the window because you're so tired and in pain all the time. Don't feel alone, we all experience it. Some days you can cope, other days are hard. You're allowed to be emotional, this isn't easy.
