Just wanted to say hello to you all and that I am thinking of you all. It is a struggle with fibromyalgia and I send my hugs to you all. I am in agony tonight with my neck and ankles and so exhausted. I am relieved to have found this website and wish you all well x

Well thank you Jen me too in a lot of pain feet calf’s hands fingers I noted you may not be taking much medication for Fibromyalgia there’s a lot more out there that will help you Be happy x

I have tried a few meds but so far no good to me. The best thing I found is direct heat however today I am suffering and saw my gp this evening as I am finding it overbearing.

Jen if you got fibromyalgia you may find it helpful to may be try the medication we are all mostly on such as co-damol Or pregablin There is Also a gell call Fenbid forty 5% from the doctor that helps a lot You is not likely to go away but you can ease it ok Thinking of you tonight xx

Yes Thank you... I used to take cocodamol but it made me sick. I am epileptic so have to be careful also. At the mo I take Solpadeine Max and stopped taking duloxetine as it gave me hurrendous headaches. Still trying x

Hello Jenwen74 & welcome to FMAUK Community!

You mention being sick on cocodamol yet can take Solpadeine which has the same ingredients ie codiene and paracetamol with Caffiene added also. I wonder why you the cocodamol didn't suit but Solpadeine are ok? Different coating maybe?

Hope you find others things to help as living with Fibro and chronic pain can be so upsetting. Have you tried CBD Oil? Other members seem to be discussing this a lot lately.

I have no idea why cocodamol makes me sick lol and neither does my GP. As I said previously I have epilepsy and lots of meds interract and make me unwell. I am now taking med to settle my uncomfortable tummy so hopefully I will feel less pain that way too. Yes I tried cbd oil and put it into an e cig however it did not make me feel better. Tastes yukky too eeeeeewwwww!!!! Most days I put up with pain without meds as I have to be on the ball for my 3 children. Sleeping tablets made me too drowsy which had a detremental effect on me and my parenting so that is a No No!.

Hello there duc this Web site is brilliant glad you hv found it the people on here are lovely and friendly and anything you need to no about fibro just ask duc theyv helped me a lot on here even when iv had a moan about other thgs ha. Hope your feeling abit better luv glor x

Thank you bless you. I feel awful today. Doctor managed to see me this evening and he is sending me for blood tests tomorrow. Swelling and pain is getting me down a bit. X

Thank you Ajay. I tried accupuncture 2 days ago. Did not work. I feel awful today and saw my gp this evening. Blood tests at hospital tomorrow to check my kidneys and see if any infections etc. I feel bad tonight.
