Finally I have been diagnosed!

After years of suffering I have finally been diagnosed today! I would rather not have it but i cannot put into words how relieved i feel that I have finally been listened to. I am hopeful that I can get some kind of relief from this demon of a thing!

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Sorry that you have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, but as you have said, it's a relief when we finally know what is wrong with us, and that we're not going mad.

Yes I agree you do feel relieved as sometimes it takes awhile to actually get the diagnosis, then the next step is the learning curve finding ways to deal with the symptoms wishing you all the best I think the forum is a great place to share stories tips etc and general support and kindness from other people. If you would like to lock your posts it normally generates more responses from our members as only our forum can see and not open to other site engines on the internet. Xxxx

I’m so sorry you are suffering from FM and it’s taken so long to be diagnosed. Now you have been I hope they’ve put a plan in action ie Pain clinic, hydro pool therapy, physio therapy etc.
