Hi Cleggjoy55, I was put in the support group.

My conditions are Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, 2 bulging discs in lumbar spine + an extra vertebrae, IBS, depression & anxiety.

I had 3 assessments and 1 tribunal.

The last assessment and the only successful assessment was around 4/5 years ago.

I have problems with walking due to a mix of Fibromyalgia, the OA and the bulging discs.

Gather as much medical evidence as you possibly can and good luck 👍🌸👍🌸

Ps.. NHS paid me off too in 2010.

Hi

I'm finishing on ill health retirement. I've got fibromyalgia, non alcoholic steatohepititis, oa in knees, IBS, diverticulitis , depression, gastritis. Also underactive thyroid!! My union rep advised me to claim for pip, she said claim for anything you can. I've had my pip face to face, just got to wait. Saw occupational health 2 weeks ago, he said I will be pentioned off. My brother said you need to hope for tier 3 as that means they will pay me until retirement age. The support I've had from work (primary school) has been fantastic. Also friends and family. I feel very lucky. If you need to know anything there will be someone on here who will be able to help you. Take care Lynne

Ps I hope everything goes well for you

If none of the descriptors apply, the assessor has to consider whether the risk of making you undertake work related activity is too high. You will find more information about that here
