dont blame you sacking the gabapent- its not for everyone, my face looked like I had bad sunburn when I tried it.. maybe stick to conventional pain relief if you havent already tried,, Yes to the question of lidocaine, i have had it twice, in 17 years, I presented at A&E with a bad flur and was infused lido with paracetmaol I.V. it did work and I am now sold on tramadol with paracetamol, although I have managed to reduce my dosage so that if a nasty flare happens again I can up the dose again safely ( hospital neuro doc advised this method)
Unfortunately I am allergic to quite a lot of pain killers..codine Tremadol Morphine.most antibiotics also. I can take paracetamol and what I'm on already so they get abit stuck with me and fed up but hey ho. But I am glad that I have been put on the list. It' very draining to put a happy face on when you feel crap.xx
I know what you mean Beardnick. Mind my asking why the gabapentin was discontinued? Drs seem to be getting 'precious' about prescribing pregabelin and gabapentin now. I always check every drug out now. I find the most useful site for this is drugs.com. Hope it is ok to put this on here. PAIN CLINIC. like your response to them!!
Thanks. I'm still on gabapentine they tried get me off it to give me pregabain but pins and needles and numbness got worse. Hence why they mentioned morphine.
But I don' know why they recounting it bk. It's like the paracetamol I have they want reduce that π
Hi Beardnick The thing is that research shows that opiates are nouse for chronic pain. Have u had your Vit D, B12 levels checked? Pins and needles can be a sign of vitamin deficiencies. PPIs stop nutrients being absorbed leading to deficiencies in the body. Have u joined any forums on Vitamin B12 deficiency? Hugs xxx
Glad you are suggesting reading up on CBD Dave. Its a complicated process taking it and there are many very poor quality products on sale both online and on the high street. They won't harm you but do little if any good,
Thanks for your reply if you need any help with it just let me know so far I have now stopped 3 of my meds and hopefully will be stopping my zomorph soon as well.
