I had my first appointment at the Pain Management clinic today,I have to say the doctor i saw was very thorough & highly empathetic towards me.
Anyway he has offered me Lidocaine infusions,I just want to know if anyone else has had them & if so did they work?And for how long?
He did say they have a 50/50 chance of working.
I have heard of this and friends on another chat page have had this and felt a lot better. You are right though, it doesn't help everyone, but if you have been offered it, go for it! Good luck!

He did say it is an expensive treatment that they only give if all other avenues have been explored,Im prepared to try anything!!
My feet have been burning all day,and my neck is so stiff! Tomorrow the pain will have moved elsewhere,i just know it
I've had lidocaine infusions every 4 months for last 5 years, I'm just thinking of giving them up now. They really helped enormously at the beginning and I'd advise anyone to definitely try it. Over time your body gets acustomed to it and it gradually stops helping, but it's worth having just for the help you get to start with! I hope it helps you a lot. mim
