No two people are going to progress the same. Keep being hopeful. Keep as fit as you can and read up lots.
Welcome hun- how did the accident affect you? have you been diagnosed with fibrop or fatigue since the acident or has it made it worse in your opinion.
Hi it affected my legs at first a month after my car crash my legs packed in.
Then the pain started it affects my arms also, Ive been diagnosed with fibromagia
ME nerve dammage & possible MS
My dad has MS
The only medication l have now is Amitripyline
Ive tried every thing else going & dont really help me any more
Hi .... as said everyone is individual with their fibro journey.
For me personally I've had times in the past where I've been worse than I am at present but there's also been tones that I've been better.
For me; I believe what makes the difference is that even though symptoms may get worse I am now able to manage them better using a combination of medication; complementary therapies and self management techniques xxx
Hello there. Had a bad car accident 5 years ago. I have had severe back pain for 2 years and many treatments at pain clinic. This Sept. was diagnosed with severe Fibro 18/18 trigger points. Could not walk easily, my back and arms were killing me, could not wake up in the morning etc. After i was diagnosed, with the correct medical scheme of Tramal, Lyrica, Cymbalta and antidepressants, cortisone injections for trochandiritis, i have FINALLY felt some days like my old self since i changed doctors and have minimum pain but not doung extremely tiring things. Now trying to stabilise the condition. I never thought i would recover from the accident but i did! Try to find the right doctors and meds that suit you. This is my suggestion.
Sending u lots of good karma!
Maria
Hi Hun and welcome to this friendly forum. I’m so sorry to hear you seem like you have had a tough time. I echo the others above that when you get the right treatments things move forward a little. The first year I had fibro badly and had to come off work I could barely move. Slowly but surely over the last 12 months things are improving all be it slow. Take care and hope things improve best wishes Steve x
Thank you clad to hear your on the mend take care
