pregablin fibro

hi been on 50mg of amitryptiline for 7 years it has helped my fibro and sleep but have had an awful lot of side effects swollen legs and ankles and its sore so went to the drs to see if there was any thing else i could try so he said pregablin I had to withdraw slowly from the amitryptiline over weeks and start 25mg of pregablin and then 50mg it is 4 weeks in and im a zombie no sleep 3 hours a night maybe the withdrawl was awful bad dreams night sweats so had to go back to the drs and upped the pregablin to 100mg a day and a small course of sleeping tablets has anybody else been through this x

Hi Hun, I had awful withdrawal symptoms when I came off amitryptiline. I’ve been on pregabalin for over a year and I did initially have insomnia but am completely fine with it now.

hi what amount of pregablin are you on im 150mg a day still having joint pain and not much sleep x
