hi all. happy New Year. mine has been awful so far. been really low, tearful and depressed along with feeling anxious. still had no letter from the hospital after my appointment 4 weeks ago therefore on no medication either. phoned the rheumy nurse but didn't get back to me which when I rang she said she was chasing things up. all this and having to go job centre and awaiting correspondence from the court concerning d.w.p. tribunal has really been getting me down. the weather not helping either. sorry to rant in.

Afternoon sorry to read this Mandy can you ring your surgery to find out if there's a number you can ring and ask if appointment is near to being sent out from the hospital ??? Have you been to see your gp lately to help with some meds with you feeling low tearful ?? No you are right the cold weather and lack of sun light dosent help either. Never feel sorry to let your feelings out , we all need someone to listen and share how we are feeling . I'm guessing with the xmas period things do get alittle backed up but no harm in asking for information. I did that awhile back ring clinic to see where I was in the que , lady was quite helpful and said I was in the next batch of appointments it was on my door mat within the week . So I hope you get to hear very soon , let us no how you get on xxxx

I do have an appointment next month. I got into the clinic last month due to coming off hydroxy for lupus and feeling worse. the rheumatologist said it was fibromyalgia. this was a different rheumatologist, the main rheumatologists assistant. I have rang the rheumy nurse helpline which I was contacted back. they said they were chasing things and would ring me back. they never did which is not like them. maybe it's because n.h.s. is in a mess. it does get you down though as I don't know if they are waiting for my next appointment for the next step. who knows. I don't know if I have lupus aswell as fibro. xx

((((HUGS))) With having xmas as well as the new year holiday I am thinking everything will have got behind paper work wise. Try and hang on to the thought that you are in the pipe line and on their list. So if you have not heard anything by next week try giving them another call.

It can be very trying depressing when we want answers asap but please try and stay as relaxed as you can it will only make you feel worse. I know how hard that is believe you me my Hubby calls me instant mash lol I hope you hear something very soon my fingers are crossed for you xx
