Hello Zita71 I am sorry you feel a little let down with your GP but it does sound like he is taking the right route to try and rule things out or in. But has he says they need test results before they can do anything to help. I know it is a long drawn out process but it is necessary so they can make the right diagnoses. May I ask have you been diagnosed with Fibro ? Please try and be patient and not worry. I know it is never easy as i well know i'm a big worry wort at times lol Please keep us updated and i hope we see you posting more. This is a great support group i'm sure you will find it very helpful.
May I just mention I see you have not locked your post. For privacy reasons you may like to do this now here is the link showing you how. But if you need further help or would like me to lock it for you please just ask.

Hi there thanks for letting us know how you got on , I can see why you are annoyed yet another 2 weeks will go by , surely a blood test could be done at the lab at your local hospital so results would get back normally within the week ?? We also have a walk in clinic that can be done on the day did he ask you to fast ???for bloods , I can understand a doctor wanting to have different blood tests done before he can get a clearer picture of what's going on but there are ways of getting things quicker, least he could have done was read your notes especially if you put these in front of him. Sometimes we have to wait an awful long time over our appointment times to see our doctors , you would just like to feel valued as a patient when you leave the room, thinking of you xxxx
Oh no I'm sorry the GP was not more helpful/supportive, so very frustrating x
totally understand your frustration .... i was waiting on results for tests done week before christmas - phoned today - results are clear. asked to make appointment to discuss next step with GP and first routine appointment is Mon 22/01/18 ... so almost 2 weeks
Poor you. It's amazing how different GPs work. With mine, not that I see him that often, but if he wants bloods I just pop into the nurse in the next room and she does it there and then, unless it's a fasting test then it's the next day. Alternatively I can collect a form and go to the local hospital and they take it. I get tremors too and have lost count of the number of cups of coffee I have worn Hopefully the tremors will subside soon. Mine come and go thankfully.
Hi I'm sorry I had the same thing with my Dr we have just moved from London to Cambridgeshire and I'm still waiting to see a Rhematologist after 5 months dr said can't do anything till notes come through. I'm still getting meds but they never take you seriously. I too had a blood test done that was about 3 weeks ago before Christmas going to make appointment again to see what is piggin going on ! Good luck with your dr be stern you are important too X Jools (Thunder1).
Be glad your doctor is being thourough. He can't decide how to proceed without all the information. Are you sure it's a week for blood results ?
