Hi

New Years resolution for you to come on this site more and make some friends

If you look on the main Fibro site their may be a support group in your area that you could join .

Make appointment with your GP and discus how you are feeling

Also on Fibromyalgia UK you will find information that you can print off for your family that may explain you condition and help them be more understanding .

Happy New Year

Hi Hun, bless you I’m so sorry to hear you’re having a difficult time. We’re a friendly bunch on this site so feel free to talk anytime you want to Hun. I’m sure there are people on here that can give you advice on how to try and get your family to understand about fibro. I hope you don’t mind me asking but are you taking any medication for the depression? Or have you at least spoken to your gp about it? Please take care Hun and feel free to talk anytime you want to. Big hugs xx

Morning Anitaswann1

So sorry to hear you feel so low at the moment, you've come to the right place to talk and find support as we all learn to live with Fibromyalgia 24/7. As others have mentioned it might be worth discussing this with your GP as there may be something s/he can prescribe to help you through this bout of depression. Please do keep u posted.

You mention being lonely, have you investigated whether their are any local Fibro support groups near you. This might be something to look into, see link;

healthunlocked.com/fibromya...

I would like to also mention that if you every need to speak to someone you can ring the Samaritans for support. I've used the helpline during low moments in my life so I know how helpful it can be to talk

samaritans.org/how-we-can-h...

Hope you find this community a great support

All the best for 2018! :)

Fibromyaligia often leaves me feeling lonely too, I know how you feel. It's hard for others to understand the burden of it and I'm sure it's worse this time of year.

The Fibro groups mentioned above are great. I too would suggest going back to your GP, antidepressants may not work for eveyone but there's much more out there like support groups or even online councilling if you find it hard to talk.

Never feel you have to apologize for your feelings. Even those who live with close family or have friends often feel lonely as this illness can be very isolating. I think the only people who truely understand it are fellow fibromites.

We are here for you if there are things you need to discuss or just come in here if you feel like that as there is normally someone around.xxx
