Not sure I spelt that right but just coming off it being weened of and I feel so awake for the first time in ages. I have gained so much weight and become so slow in myself while on this drug I didn't even realise till I was coming off it. Strange lol the only thing I'm missing is the sleep and ok it helped with pain but I think I have a low tablet tolerance cos I was just sat watching tv I don't watch tv lol. Off back to physio is there any pain meds that don't slow you down that don't contain codine Xxx thanks tree

Hi, I couldn't tolerate gabapentin but have found pregabalin helpful.

Hi, I've just started weaning off Gabapentin too. I've been so wooly headed for so long, had investigations for Alzheimer's and all sorts, now I'm hoping that what I've read recently about Gabapentin is the reason for it all. My pain levels have reduced THANKYOU, so I'm going to try coming off them, it's got to be worth a go! My Dr is monitoring me so I'm going nice and steady, don't want to jinx the effort by rushing it!

How long was it before you noticed a difference?

If I continue to reduce at current rate it will be 5 months to get clear😯 Oh, well, something to look forward to 😉
