Hi everyone, as of yet I've not been told I've got Fibromyalgia, the doctors first thought was MS but MRI came back normal. My symptoms are leg pain in the joints and muscles, bad back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, waking up feeling more tired than before I went to bed, some eye pain and blurd vision and some forgetfulness. I know I need clarification from the medical experts but does these symptoms ring a bell with anyone, thanks in advance for any replys.

Think I may have Fibromyalgia
Hi
It does sound like you have it but I'm not a medical person. Let's hope you get sorted very soon. Take care Lynne
Thanks for your reply Lynne, To be honest would just like some sort of conclusion as it's taken 4 months to get the MS results and could be in for a long haul again
I know, everything takes forever. I have Nash(non alcoholic steatohepitis caused by meds from my drs) this took over 2 years to diagnose. Take care Lynne
I would say it is Fibromyalgia, only a Rheumatologist can determine that. These are the symptoms I have including extreme fatigue ...sleepless nights, wanting to bark at people but do my best to control ☹️
I do physio, gym, yoga as and when I can
All you need to do is rest and accept that this is a long term condition, take care🗽
Hi. Sounds very familiar!! I’ve had my first rheumatology appt and was told I have Fibro symptoms - the pain, extreme tiredness, foggy head etc etc. Not seeing consultant again til March!! I’m trying CPD oil to see if that helps.
I’m hating working at the moment as I just can’t get my head into gear.
Good luck with getting a diagnosis
Hi I was first told that I may have MS but after many tests and scans that was ruled out and I was diagnosed 3 years later with Fibromyalgia. I hope that you soon have a diagnosis as it helps a little knowing why and what’s happening to your body. Good luck and hopefully soon you will get help . Lynn
Thanks everyone for replying, it's good to know that there is other people out there experiencing the same things
Hi Jackapoo. I’m not medical but your symptoms sound very similar to my own and I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I also experience pain all over my body which seems to move around from place to place - some remains permanent like my lower back, left knee, top of my arms and a burning sensation over my whole back. Severe short ‘electric shocks’ in my fingers and toes can also occur. Mornings are the worst with stiffness over my entire body, solid non moving ankles, and general pain. It really is the most difficult of conditions to explain as it moves like quicksand over your entire body !
I have taken Nopraxine with a stomach anti acid tablet and an anti depressant called Duloxitine which treats nerve pain (an unplanned for side effect). Hope this helps and good luck with future diagnosis. Thank goodness it’s not MS !!
Thanks Tootiepie, everything you've mentioned is similar to me tho it's my right knee. I'm also on Nopraxine but feel it's not doing me any good and will see the doctor soon about maybe trying something different.
I had similar went to Neuro hospital at Queens Square as thought MS mind then left to it!
It was the late Doctor Fisher at RLHIM next door that said fibro.
