Hello all , just thought that I would like to take the time to say goodbye to one of my lovely poster idols of the 1970's David Cassidy who has passed away . I remember putting up posters of him and Donny Osmond when they were printed in 'Jackie '. and any other number of the magazines we had back then. They have said he was suffering a form of dementia ,and arthritis along with other problems. He was a very handsome man , and I always had to watch The Partridge Family when it was on the telly. Kind thoughts go out to his family and friends at this sad time.
It has been lovely to hear his music again today on Radio 2, and has taken me back to my old bedroom in London where I grew up , with his gorgeous face on the wall.
Rest in peace David , xxx

Dear fluff26 I too am mourning one of my childhood crushes. I too loved the Partridge family. It's so sad to hear stories saying he was burnt out by age 24. It truly is a dark day. At least he is no longer in pain. 😢
I was singing away to daydreamer earlier and thought about those days of chopper bikes ,' fruit salads and black jacks', long summers, and not being a knackered old bag that I feel today !! and oh yes , he was a good looking guy [ yep, I said it earlier ] . Blimey, I've gone all nostalgic . xx
I used to have poster of him on the wall and used to kiss his lips before I got into bed.He was so dreamy looking with a voice to drool over. I never watched the Partridge Family.
