I have regular hot stone massage ... and while I find it uncomfortable (and sometimes painful) at the time and for a day or two after .... once the initial tenderness eases I feel much better for it.

I only use the one therapist ... and she understands chronic pain/fibromyalgia. .. and this makes such a big difference xxx

don't think you have anything to lose. I cannot see how massage would fail to help. In your place I'd certainly try it.

I would agree with Hazel & Mr B! I don't think you have anything to lsoe, if the pain is really bad than you know not to do it again! For me the same as Hazel I suffer a bit afterwards but then do feel better 🤗🌹

Have had hot stone massage really relaxing and soothing on the back if you go for that enjoy, I'm treating myself to a facial eye treatment and head massage Friday for an hour, had my 2 youngest grandchildren today think I could do with it now ha ha xx

It's worth having a session to see how you feel. Even if she just works gently to see how your body reacts to the massage xxx

I am a retired nurse and qualified masseuse. I think you may find the Hot stone massage good, but take care with Swedish (classical) massage as it might be too intense in the wringing and kneading. You should be OK with the stroking, tapping and cupping as they are gentler.
