I have chronic back problems, have had 4 different operations including fusions of 4 disc, I am waiting to have Nerve Induction Studies to try to find the exact cause of problem,, for the past 3 years I have been getting aching pains in my entire body,, recently I have been getting the most dreadful pains in my arms, it feels like i am carring heavy weights, also today I cannot get out of bed with complete exhaustion.. Unfortunately because of severe back pain I take 30mg Zomorph, Oral Morph when needed, my husband is a gem, i could not cope without him,, my go wanted to refer me to pain clinic but it is just group therapy which is what I am doing on here!! Please can anyone help with this agonizing arm pain, Thankyou!!

I have pain in my right arm ... not sure if similar or not. It hurts to pick up a cup of water for example or brush my hair with that arm. I use an elbow support - bit like tubigrip. I find that helps enormously although I can't wear it all the time as the allodynia kicks in after a while.

Hello to you, Thankyou for replying,, my pain is in both arms and they ache like nothing on earth,, I find the pain is worse at the end of the day, I don't know if it is holding the paper, or tablet, nothing seems to stop It!! I haven't been properly diagnosed but my GP says it is certainly fbm,it doesn't show up on blood tests,, I am undergoing nerve tests shortly to find if it is connected to my back problem, exhaustion is another problem, today has been especially bad, I think I over done things over the weekend, very stupid!!! I hope you feel better tomorrow!!!!

Hopefully your next set of tests show up something that can be treated and you get your arms back! I know it's hard when one of them is hurting so both must be awful. Hope you feel better soon

Thankyou that is very kind of you,,, yes it is extremely painful but more so when I am tired, I don't know if these things are connected🐞
