Stomach problems.

I've had Fibromyalgia, Emphysema, Degenerative Disc Disease and other health problems for years.

I'm on a cocktail of medication, the main one being Gabapentin. I take 600 - 900 mg 3 x a day. I use to be on Naproxen but got taken off them.

I was taken off them as I was getting bad pain just underneath my left then right breast. I thought the pain was to do with my Emphysema but got told it was stomach related. The doc felt my stomach and said I could have a stomach ulcer or something else as my stomach was very tended. I've now been having severe pain when I empty my bladder.

I'm just wondering whether the Naproxen has cause all these problems and should I go back to the doc. I'm terrified in case its something really bad. 😢😢

hi bently if I was you should defintly go back to docs. if only to stop you worrying. I think with naproxen you are supposed to take stomach liners. as with any anti inflamatry.

Naproxen is know to cause stomach problems so is any anti inflammatory that's why they say to eat before taking them I had camera of stomach done it shows a lot of acid due to antiinflamtoy use

U need to be on stomach tablet ask ur gp

I to am on stomach tab it was increased to 2 a day 1morning 1tea time omeprazole
