I just want to add that all the rhetoric assessment, the Assessor was constantly typing all though. So why do you wait an hour and a half to see the because they are typing up their notes. I feel I want to complain.

Unfortunately, all they are doing whilst you are with them at the assessment is ticking boxes and doing brief notes. Afterwards they have to type up a report for the DWP decision maker with their own recommendations as to whether they personally feel an award should be given. They then should be going through the next persons paperwork to ascertain what they are dealing with before that person goes in, hence the delays.

It is really stressful sitting there in the waiting room. At my first ESA assessment I had to wait two and a half hours, OH had to walk 15 minutes to the place where the car was as the meter time which he had put in for 2 hours had run out and by the time he got back I had been called and had to go in on my own! I can fully commiserate with you. Do hope you get s good result.x
