Pain stinging teeth/gum's: Hi everyone... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
Pain stinging teeth/gum's
What about trying bonjela, I think you can get in a lot of shops now. It does kind of numb it for a bit. You just need to heed the warnings of any drugs interacting with it.
If used in large amounts Bonjela may possibly enhance the anti-blood-clotting effect of the anticoagulant medicine warfarin.
It's not known to significantly affect other medicines, providing the recommended dose is not exceeded. However, if you're already taking any medicines, including those bought without a prescription and herbal medicines, it's best to check with your pharmacist before using Bonjela as well, to make sure that the combination is safe.

That's awful to have. Gum sensitivity can be a part of fibro. Some years back my GP gave me something called Difflam rinse. It is a type of anesthetic and it helped to stop the cycle. My last dentist also told me to gently rub toothpaste for sensitive CV teeth into my gums, that also helped. Good luck tomorrow.x
Hi again Bob π
Please please don't ask your dentist to take your teeth out.
I think (and this is just my own personal opinion) that the pain is in your gums not your teeth.
It is possible that you may have some sinus problems which would make your teeth & mouth hurt.
Please do try the Daktarin I mentioned on your other post.
You put it on the edges of your mouth and not inside your mouth.
Good luck in the morning.
Hugs Lu xx
What happens when you drink tea or coffee at a tepid temperature? That's what I do to avoid the ache pain and seems to work ok. It's amazing what one can get used to. Probably for me, the fear of the Dentist pain helps in this .
Thanks again Lu,always you are here for me I will try daktarin but I'm going to see my dentist in the morning I have asked her before about the problem and she blamed it on the fribo and then give me a filling on the tooth I will of course let you know what happens
BOB xx
You're more than welcome my friend π
Please dont ask to have your teeth out. Give the Daktarin a try. It takes a few days to start working properly.
Do you think it could be Burning MS?
It sounds like it to me from what you've said. BMS is a fairly rare condition but your dentist should know about it.
Look forward to hearing from you tomorrow.
Hope you get some sleep tonight.

Hello Bob I agree with everyone don't ask to have your teeth removed if it is your gums then you'll be all gums. Also dentures can be hard on your gums and you'll need them to eat. I have a very sensitive mouth but I am low on b12 and was told that could be a side effect who would guess thatπ I hope your dentist helps you tomorrow. Good luckπ. Chris
Hi bobajob I totally understand ! Severe toothache is worse then Labour pains and I thought I was dying so that's saying something ! I've only got 14 teeth left in me head . Big gap at the front lower jaw . I had 3 out in one go . They said they could fix them but could only guarantee pain wouldn't come back 80%. Only 100% was going to b good enough for me . So now I have a lisp I never had too. But at least them teeth can't hurt me anymore . I did consider having all teeth out but I'm still too young I think . Wishing u all the best when u c ur dentist π
