Hi Hidden Welcome to our wonderful forum, I'm sure you will love it and find it invaluable chatting to others who are going through the same as you, at different stages of their lives with fibromyalgia.

You really have come to the right place my friend and I look forward to chatting with you on the forum.

I get twitching in my back, thighs, feet, in fact I get constant twitching the majority of the time, they are small muscle spasms & can be highly annoying. I can be often seen with my leg hanging out of bed, shaking it, trying to stop it. Just stretching or massage helps a bit.

Please do go check out the mother site fmauk.org where you will find lots of useful information and links on fibro and I look forward to chatting with you on the forum

Peace, luv n light

Hi there

Welcome to the forum :)

From what you are describing it sounds like you could have RLS (Restless Legs Syndrome).

RLS is a very common symptom with Fibromyalgia sufferers.

I am not sure if there is any medication that can be prescribed specifically for this.

I don't know if a muscle relaxant would help as I am not a doctor. It may be worth speaking to your local Pharmacist to see what they have to say.

You may like to look into locking your posts so that they stay within our forum and are not open to the whole Here is an easy to follow guide on how to do this:

If you need any help, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Wishing you a peaceful evening.

Hi Hidden

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance.

I get quite bad muscle spams and RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome). There are medications that you could discuss with your doctor if they feel that they are suitable for you. One in particular is called Baclofen.

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken
