I believe so. They know how many points awarded. Someone said it's a good idea to ask them to send you the report they send to DWP. xx

Hi George1973 The assessor doesn't make any decisions and they will not discuss if they think you will get it or not. They fill in questions and tick boxes and that then gets sent to DWP as far as I know my friend,

Hi George1973

The DWP make the final decision, and I have pasted you a CAB link that explains how they work out the points score.

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Even if the assesor is aware He is nit allowed to give you any information. The assesment will be sent back to DWP and they will then look at your claim again with that report and make the decision. Even if you ask fir the report you are not likely to recive it untill youre claim has been dealt with.

No they don't make the decision they just ask the questions and record their conclusions it is the DWP that make the final decision. That doesn't mean that what they put doesn't lead the DWP decision maker in a certain direction but of course the decision maker might look at the evidence in a different way.x

The assssor’s report says what points they consider should be awarded but it is the DWP decision maker who actually decides whether you get those points, more points or fewer points. Most decision makers just rubber stamp the assessor’s report.

Not what you're looking for?
