Polyarthrities

I have Polyarthrities in my hands and feet and Fibromyalgia. My joints are so sore and swollen what else could it be.

My dad had polymyalgia rheumatica very similar to what you describe, he took arthrotec and prednisolone 2.5 maybe ask g.p if you could have similar to ease your suffering, we are not supposed to suffer severe pain just because a label has been stuck on us, our g.p and A&E are there to ease such suffering-go back to either and get some help andi1 don't suffer so much.

I am so genuinely sorry to read this and I have pasted two excerpts below from *Wikki and from **Patients and as Hidden says, they are quite similar in nature. I also agree with caz-54 that you should not have to suffer needlessly and please seek some medical assistance. If your GP will not help then go along to either your local Walk-In Centre or as a last resort, then go to A&E:

*Polyarthritis is any type of arthritis that involves 5 or more joints simultaneously. It is usually associated with autoimmune conditions and may be experienced at any age and is not sex specific.

**Polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) causes pain, stiffness and tenderness in large muscles, typically around the shoulders, upper arms and hips. The cause is not known. Treatment with steroid tablets usually works well to ease symptoms. You need to take a low dose of steroid each day to keep symptoms away.
