Hi Lolamay79

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I have pasted for you below a link to our mother site, FMA UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:

I am so genuinely sorry to read of how your doctor has stopped all of your medications. I would definitely go and see a different GP at your surgery. Some medications should not just be stopped like this either as they need to be reduced gradually depending on what they are? Another thing that you could do is pop along to your nearest walk-in centre and let them help you? I am not sure at all why he would give you a 5 day course of steroids?

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

Not sure stopping everything at once was a good plan. I have tried all sleepers over the years bu none really helped. Have been using CBD oil for a couple of weeks and found it helps me sleep longer and more deeply. Yet to see if my body musts adjusts to it like tablets. Good thing is it's natural and mine is organic, bad thing not on prescription so £28 a month average cost.

How they expect any one yo get well without a healthy sleep pattern iOS beyond me

Hi Lolamay79 and welcome to our friendly fibro forum where you can find advice, support, understanding and information.

I am surprised you have been taken off your meds all at once, particulary as some need to be reduced slowly. Also, how would you know which one was the most effective or not working if they were all removed together?

I suggest you get an emergency appointment with another doctor and ask for help and advice. It is strange you have been given steroids, because they are not routinely prescribed as they have little effect on fibro.

I hope you get some relief very soon.

Kay
