Hi, I'm new to this site.I've recently started to suffer from restless legs and arms & hands.

It's driving me to tears during the day, never mind at night.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how to help with this? I move about in bed so much now, that I'm keeping hubby awake too :-( Any suggestions welcome!

EDIT: Medication I'm on:- Gabapentin, Tramadol, Co-Codamol. Amitriptaline didn't help me.

Hi tendo, welcome from me.

I have plenty of meds that help me like amitriplyn and gabapentin but i know there is more. If you click on the restless leg syndrome tag at the side of the page it will bring up every question people have asked to do with it and you will have plenty of info off it.

hugs, kel xxxxx

Thanks Kel :-) I'll go to the RLS tag and look there for answers.

Hi there, I suffer from this, my GP put me on Clonazepam sleeping tablets as they are helpful for calming this, it hasn't stopped it completely, but it has eased the problem a lot. Maybe you could ask your dr. about the possibility of trying this. Best of luck, maybe we should get sponsored for all the miles we jog at night !!! LOL

Hi Flowerfairy and thanks :-) I'm seeing my GP next week, so I'll suggest the Clonazepam and see what he says.

I think the sponsored idea is great, lol!

Hi Tendo, i have HAD restless leg for as long a i remember..1970.. my Dr put me on Ropinerole last year & still works well for me.

I dont have to worry about traveling sitting etc, As jazer said the tags are a great way of finding out info on most things fibro related and all that goes with it, it is a terrific site.

Hope you find help, take care & dont need to jog all night lol.:-) x.
