- Pain in base of skull
- Weakness in legs
- Tiredness
- Tight chest
- Numbness in jaw
- Clenching jaw
- Inability to concentrate

I am so genuinely sorry to read this my friend and I endure many of these symptoms myself. They all look like a mix of Fibro and TMJ symptoms by reading this? If they persist or get any worse, it would be best to talk to your GP just to have other medical symptoms ruled out of the equation. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
Hi Lamby, sorry to say that what you are experiencing are typical Fibro symptoms. You have to be able to try to read your own body and get out of situations that cause you aggro. The symptoms will subside, be selfish and look after yourself until you feel better. Wish I could be more helpful, all the best.
Sounds familiar Lamby023 Most of us get some or all of these much of the time I'm afraid. So hard to deal with. I don't know what your situation is, but it seems there is a lot of stress in your life - forgive me if I'm wrong. Finding a way to relieve the stress has an effect on the severity of most symptoms I find. I now have two wonderful cleaners who come in once a week and a gardener to keep the jungle at bay as needed. My lovely daughter pays for this so I am twice blessed. You have to delegate the jobs you can really no longer do without exacerbating the fibro. I'm sure you know all this really, and you will always find a warm heart and a comfy shoulder here on the forum when you need it. Sending you gentle hugs xx
It could be FM but I would advise you to make an urgent appointment with your GP and get referred for scans just to rule out anything sinister. This should give you peace of mind!!! Wishing you all the best.
Hi hun, Yes I,ve had similar symptoms, at the back of or necks we have 2 muscles either side that go up into our skull, sometimes they can get tight and cause untold strange feelings, with me it turns to a nasty migraine and yes I grind my teeth in pain and clench each jaw. I would be inclined to get it checked soon, not wanting to scare you but my first time was a sub arachnoid haemorrhage, should vile head ache occur A&E pronto....
Please do not wait around when it comes to the numbness in jaw and tight chest. These could be symptoms of a myocardial infarction or another big problem. Please see a doctor ASAP!
