Hey,
I'm 22 and am awaiting diagnosis of fibromyalgia when I finally get a rheumatologist appointment! I find cutting gluten out the diet helps and definitely visiting a physiotherapist on a regular occasion to have your lymphs massages releases a lot of tension. I was just wondering if you've ever had any cognitive problems with your fibro? I'm suffering real bad at the moment with fog and panic attacks. Wondering if you've felt anything similar?
Hope you're well!
When you see your Docter tell him the way it is and ask about the American 18 point test for fibro diegnnoses
Hi Erny,
I'm aware of the 18 trigger points, I've applied pressure myself and have pain in my collar bone, neck, shoulders, elbows, knees and back all over. All of a sudden, I've been having severe neck stiffness which I guess is resulting in my head pressure. As a result of the pain I think my body is overreacting and causing me to have panic attacks, I've been clenching my jaw a lot too cause of the stress. Sometimes I feel my calves go numb which also causes me to panic resulting in brain fog and shortness of breath. This has gone on for 3 weeks now and have had vitals checked and all fine. Can only relate it to the fibromyalgia as my dad says he went through exactly the same thing with doctors from the NHS telling him there was "nothing wrong with him"
Thanks for your reply 🙂
The 18 points test was a questioner about how your fibro is Its a yes or no thing so every answer is yes
