Morning every1 another day of pain got to c doctor soon my knees are bad had 1 of them taken out already 9 years ago apparently they only last 10 years so have to c what doctors say but the other knee bad having to walk slowly like a old lady how's every1 else feeling today

Morning Babsy_52 oh bless you, thats awful. Yes I've heard that they only lady for 10 yrs. That's not long really when time goes so quickly. Sorry your in so much pain & hope you can get some relief very soon & pls. Do let us know how you get on.

Hi Babsy_52 I'm sorry to hear you are struggling with your knees. I have had both done, the first 15 years ago and still going strong.

I would see your doctor to get a referral to an orthopaedic surgeon, the way the waiting lists are going, it is likely to take quite a while before you finally get the op.

Hope your pain goes soon.

Glad u are doing well with yours it not good when your knees are bad I'm seeing my doctor soon so I talk to her about it how u finding this site

Ten years!! I sincerely hope not! I'm on 10 and a half yrs for my first knee, and it's still fine. I was told should get 15 yes, maybe longer..certainly hope so...had second knee done 6 months ago, and yes, it's still a very painful surgery!

Yea I no it is I don't no what the doctor will say I'll just tell them how painful they both are and go from there glad your first 1 still good tho

Yes, you need to have them checked out..fingers crossed you don't need the first knee redone so soon. X

Yea me to hope that but they did say 10 years to me when I had it done but that make it 2018 then so they won't do nothing yet anyway
