Hi I’m Sharone new to fibromyalgia!! Have lived with chrohns disease for 21 years now I’m now interested in learning how to live with fibromyalgia!!! x

On Wednesday this week, but my GP did suggest it, ( brain fog ) doctor at hospital not sure of his name !! They have done some more bloods never said what for ? No other investigations, I do have B12 injections every 12 weeks, and take folic acid and vitamin D

How long have you had fibromyalgia?

Welcome hun sorry u have fibromyalgia i was diagnosed last year its not easy at all but we have to learn to pace ourselves learn to say no and fight the monster every day xxxx

All the best to you, please let me know how you get on, I find it really hard to say no, but it really isn’t worth the pain !! I’m new to all this but reading up as fast as I can haha xx

Hello there, just want to welcome you , yes it is learning how to live with the changes, I really do live each day as it arrives, some surprize me and I nearly forget that I’m living with this condition and go to bed with a 😊 and yes there will be ones that will not be so good , but great support here, lots of banter, friendly advice and reading posts always helps .xx

Hi Sharonwhittingham i was diagnosed with fibromyaligia 5years ago as well as Ostioartheritus in my spine I've been given tablets that don't help with the pain i join to see what other people with this condition take for there pain xx

Hi, yes that’s what I would like to find out what others do to get relief!! From the pain I’ve been put on amitriptyline 20 mg to start off not helping much yet, but I suppose I’ve got to give it time x

Yeah I'm on amitriptyline 25mg i take four at night but they don't help at all and im on co-codomal and take 2 every four hours I've asked my doctors what other medicine i could take but they said they can only describe them for now. I find it hard to walk so i have a stick and my legs at the moment aren't playing ball I've asked my doctor if i could help but all they said because of my age there's not much they can do apart from subscribe me with a cream which i thought was a bit stupid xx

Hi, yes cream !! Sounds a bit weird.. I only take 2 amitriptyline at night I’ve got tramadol for the day but it’s not helping with the chrons disease !! I was only diagnosed on Wednesday so it’s all early days for me, hope you get sorted with the pain killers x
