I filled in ESA f2f and sent it off in March got a appointment for October requested home visit which they denied . Then my doctor sent another letter in meantime got new appointment for November 1st. Today they said they had cancelled the 19th and I no longer need a f2f and every thing has being sent back to DWP. To say I am confused is a understatement

Sounds like you are a lucky applicant, keep an eye on your bank account payments usually arrive before paperwork..I hope that is the case for you.

Must admit I am confused as I thought DWP made final decision and it is Capita telling me I dont need f2f

in reply to

If your response says you don't need f2f then they would have followed that by stating refusal of ESA if it doesn't say that then keep an eye on bank account and brown envelope on the doormat.

It sounds like a lucky break to me. Can you tell me if you see what letters your doctor writes before he sends them and if you have to pay for the letters?

I requested a letter to say I needed home visit this was written by another doctor at surgery and my request for a home visit was rejected this happened twice . Then my own doctor came back from holiday and wrote a letter this was accepted for a home visit then today they said that I do not need a home visit as they have all information they need all documents have being sent back to DWP . I paid £15 for first letter but did not have to pay for last one which my doctor wrote .My doctor rang me up to tell me what he had put in the letter. Then he sent me a copy. I am lucky I have a lovely doctor

Gosh, that was lucky. It’s odd they rejected a home visit twice. Perhaps it worked in your favour that you asked for a home visit, and the Assessment people didn’t want to send anyone.

I think the first two were not worded properly for them to accept them. The one my doctor sent was worded differently and they accepted it.
