Well it might be that I have Fibromyalgia, but not sure, well the doctor thinks it could be, but not sure. Taking vitamin D tablets for 3 months as level a bit low. But that was all the doctor advised except for giving me a couple of pages to read.
Now have to find, like it seems from some posts I have read, by trial and error what will help.
Hoping it is not, but here's hoping.

If you look on the NHS website, it will help you to see what symptoms to expect. You won't have them all at once, but they do come together at times. nhs.uk/Conditions/Fibromyal...
Waiting for the diagnosis is the worst, as every test they do comes back negative. Make sure you have a GP who is understanding of the illness. Not all of them are.
Good luck. xx
Hello Maria have you yet seen a rheumatologist? maybe been referred to a specialist physio for some hydrotherapy? Are you in pain with your condition , do you suffer fatigue? If you can give us some pointers on how this affects you we can all help you with therapies etc. Please feel very welcome on our forum we are all in the same boat!
The main symptoms are lack of sleep, pain and fatigue.
However there are many other illnesses that also have the same symptoms such as Lyme Disease and MS and it is very important that these are ruled out first.
It may be a good idea for you to ask your GP for a referral to see a Rheumatologist. They are the specialists that deal with diagnosing Fibromyalgia.
Please feel free to ask any questions you like. We are all here to support and look after each other.
If you need any help navigating the forum, please let me know and I will be more than happy to help you.
Hi MarioCampus welcome to our wonderful forum ☺ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences.
It does help with the whole process and I wish I had found the site years ago. I have had Fibro for nearly 30 yrs and I'm still learning about it, like we all are.
It's a shame your gp isn't more on the ball in getting you referred to a Rhuematologist, as BlueMermaid3 says, this is normally done once your doctor thinks this is what you have, so i would definitely ask for it if it's not been offered. I'm presuming you have had various blood tests to eliminate other Deseases ! .
Anyway you do have some good advise so I just wanted to say Hi & i look forward to chatting with you on the forum,
Peace, luv n light
