Hi everybody I don't post alot but do read everybody's comments it makes me feel better knowing I'm not alone in this terrible fibro illness, recently I've started having new symptoms the over active bladder being 1 of them, when newly diagnosed I was put on amitrytaline but found I actually suffered more with bladder problems ie: wetting myself as I had no control at all and it was either this of the amount of diazepam for muscle cramps that was causing the problem and come the colder months I do have to wear a pad at night as its so bad e en tho when reducing both above mentioned meds it seemed to he alot better and just put up with the muscle cramps but now I'm struggling as I constantly have the urge but pass hardly any and sometimes have no feeling when passing urine so was shocked to read how the amitryptiline actually helped people so I going to try and start taking it again and see if it truly does help as the others have suggested so wanted to say thankyou to those that posted it and for actually all being here even tho you don't know it you help me daily to carry on and try to live my life, as I was sick of going to the old doctor who wouldn't do anything but say it's part of your fibro so get used to it and in the same breath say the Conditions doesn't exist even tho the rhemy doctor sent him a comprehensive letter detailing the condition and what meds for me to he on and what support I should be getting whi h wad so infuriating I stopped going completely we have since moved house and doctor and I'm still not been to see new doctor ad I really carnt take any more negativity about the fibro so thanks everybody for the support and advice

Hi there, may I suggest you vistit your new GP. It could be something that can be helped.

I would be inclined not to even mention fibro but just explain about the incontinence and let them check it out xx

I relate Masil. In the past my relationship with my doctor was frustrating and I still avoid going even though they are really good these days. Hope you can find the courage to go xx
