Hello, I think (and this is just advice) that a doctors appointment should come 1st ,me personally I do not understand sending you too physio before you have been seen, I know it can be hard but get back on the telephone and be extra firm and say I am not happy with this , good luck and let us know how you get on xx

Only certain times of the week🙄mornings you have to book an appointment to talk to a doctor, longer if it is your own doctor, then they will assess over the phone 🙄how serious you are [you have to be practically a doctor yourself these days🙄] they might be able to visit your house if he/she thinks your symptoms are serious enough [from your own descriptions of your symptoms] If you ring up GP reception in the afternoon, you will be told to ring back the next morning🙄Local A&E only up to 8.30 pm, via phone of course? That's Northern Ireland NHS [politically directed of course?🙄] I have epilepsy myself, so I can fully sympathise with you🥴🥴 [The Medical staff are fine over here, it's the so called Political overseer's , that run and ruin the "system"!]😤🙄

My 35-year-old daughter got diagnosed with epilepsy when she was 7 years old. We have had so many problems with health care over the years it is unbelievable. She rings 111 talks to them and they advise her what to do. If they think she needs to be seen they ring an ambulance for her. If they think she is ok to wait and ring back if anything gets worse that's what she does. She does ring her GP to ask for an appointment but usually is told she will have to wait 3 - 5 days by which time of course she doesn't need one.

I haven't seen a doctor since before Covid. I've been sent for x-rays, CT-scan and Dexa scan all without being seen by an actual GP. I had breathing difficulties for 6 months, hence the x-ray and CT-scan but the only person to actually listen to my lungs was a nurse, its crazy. On the long spiel you have to listen to when you finally get through to them on the phone, its says they are "now"open, it's been saying that for about a year and yet you still can't see an actual GP in the flesh. What I don't understand is they go on about us not calling them if its anything Covid related because they are apparently " busy with other things" yet they won't let us actually see them for "other things" so quite frankly I have no idea what they are actually doing?!

I have social phobia which is hugely amplified by being on the phone, and they should know this as its in my notes, but they still won't let me actually see someone, its ridiculous.

I understand that too well, I moved house just before the first Lockdown, managed to slide in to register, but have not even had an Introductory MOT! the only folk I have seen is the District Nurses for the Jabs!

I don't even know who my doctor is!

Cheers, Midori
