I filled my form in as my worse day. Does it state anywhere that you have to fill in your claim as your worst day or your best day. Thank you.

Hi Ennis I think you will be fine with what you have written as it is best to describe your worst day.

When you have your assessment repeat what you have written, and your bad, (not necessarily worst) days must be more than 3 days a week to stand a fair chance.

Kay

I would be inclined to state worst case scenario and make yourself a word document as a reminder for anything further say how your illnesses affect your daily life incl work, chores cooking, food prep., dressing, personal hygiene, fibro fog. Say what and why you take various meds and any therapies you are having..if you give the slightest hint of things you cope with well that will go against you..good luck

Hi Ennis and welcome to our wonderful forum ☺I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you & talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro & learning from their experiences.

I see you have already had some good advise so I would just like to give you the link to The Mother Site, where you will find all the information you need and lots of useful links on Fibro and I look forward to chatting to you on the forum.

Welcome to the forum. That is the correct way to do it as if you fill it in as a good day you won't stand a chance. With fluctuating conditions which fibro etc can be does make it more difficult to fill in the form. At assessment they re sure to ask you how often you are like that so make sure that you say the majority of the time. If they pressurise you make sure that you stick to your guns. Best of luck with it all.

I am new to this site. I have had fibromyalgia for 18 years! In relation to the DLA forms you need to make it as bad as you can basically! I got refused on my first attempt and then contacted Disability Action and they filled out my forms. They told me that you have to over exaggerate my symptoms because it isn't your worst or good day. When they ask that question you just say I'm in the same pain everyday.

Hi Ennis

Welcoem to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. As the others have said fill in your form as if it is the worst day ever. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck with your application, and please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

i had help with my claim from welfare rights, they said to fill in the form saying what you are like on your worst day. Hope this helps.
