Hi buddymac- my advise on taking extra vits expecially "B" vits and magnesium; is to get your g.p to check your levels first, you can O.D on extra vits if you don't, need them and quite often people think its their meds causing them to feel off- speaking of course as someone who has experienced this!!

Iagree, with what you are saying, but asking my Doctors for blood tests, does not go down well as with any test.

I would put it to him that a health shop advises the vits what does he think, how would I know if I need extra

Hi my friend

I have read a great deal about this but I agree with Hidden about getting it checked out as it is easy to overdose on such products and make ourselves worse. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Yes you can also add baking soda and essentials oils to help , don't go buying fancy boxes or little tubs it's cheaper on line the usual place , also you can take orally as well , but if you do run it past your GP. And you can't take it orally if your talking gabapentin as it stops the obsorption !

Oh! Yes you can by it in spray form and it will stop cramping in your muscles! In bed feels yuck but worth the expense!

Hi buddymac48. My osteopath advised me to use magnesium oil spray as the tablets are apparently destroyed by the stomach. I've just started using the spray so I'll see how it goes. It's worth a try. X

Hi there, I've just had my magnesium checked for the first time, and it's just over the lowest it should be. I'm now going to increase the sprays to the full amount. I must have been low before so its a good job I've taken steps to increase my level. Don't get the oil on your clothes, its very , very oily. you'd think the drs would check levels automatically as magnesium plays such an important role in keeping muscles healthy. Oh well, I suppose that would be to simple for them to think of. have a great day xx
