Hello waller.

I'm quite new here but Ive read that alot of people here have used citizen advice. Sorry I don’t know of anything else. Maybe this site has a search function.

Best wishes Lydiah

Hi - I agree with the others here. The Benefits and Work website is very good and I used CAB to help me fill in the first form I ever had to do. Gave me the base that I've used since.

Depending where you are there may be charity organisations with suitably experienced advisors.A fee may be payable to come to you and go through form.I used a charity and they took all the paperwork off me and handled everything .....look in your local area / contact council may have a list of organisations who can help.

Good luck

Your local citizens advice or welfare rights should be able to help you fill it in for free, you may need to book an appointment as these type of forms can take a while to fill in. When I used to volunteer at CAB it'd take at least an hour anf half for the easy ones.

WHen you do go make sure you take all your meds with you so they can right in the correct dosages etc.

Always remember when filling in these forms go with your worst day.

Hope that helps

That's brilliant thanks, Irene

Yeah, the Citizens Advice Bureau will help fill in your forms free of charge, they are experienced in doing so and have additional information on the requirements needed, make an appointment with them as soon as you can to get your form returned on time, it can take about 11/2 hours.

Blessings...

Hugh, N Ireland.

If you get on to Guild Care in Worthing they will send someone to your home to help you fill in the questionnaire in the most beneficial way for you. There is no charge. I found them to be friendly and extremely helpful.

Hi Waller 1962, there is a site call fight4justice who help with filling in forms, appeals amongst other things. Why not have a look and see if it is what you are looking for. They are really busy but will get back to you. They don't charge a fee but a donation is welcome. Izzy

I agree, have been a subscriber for several years now and worth every penny. They have guides and valuable advice on what the questions really mean so you can answer correctly. My pip form is also on its way to me so will be using benefits and work's info. Another company is fightback on Facebook based in bury who do offer help to complete the form but they are busy and run by volunteers. Good luck we need it x

Hello waller. I hope you have found some help. I just wanted to add that, I recently had a bath board fitted for free from adult social care run by my county council. The worker said that he has to assess my needs according to my worst day in cases of fibromyalgia. So don't feel guilty or anything when writing it all down. It's the right thing to do.

I know your happy to pay for form help. I wondered if a solicitor would be any good, my neighbour has one and because she is on benefits she doesn't pay. She says a solicitors letter holds alot of weight when she needs to complain.

Best wishes

I had mine filled out by CAB on thursday. The girl was very detailed in filling out the form. I got a print out of my meds at my health centre which she was able to work off. Took about 1hour and a half. My doctor is behind me so should get some kind of rate, fingers crossed. There was no.charge now its away in post. Just a waiting game now

Oh dont forget to send print out of meds with form may be another string to your bow as its a stamped genuine page from health centre.

Not what you're looking for?
