PIP form help
If you can't get assistance filling the form in, then please look at the Benefits and Work website, and do their dummy test. That will tell you what you are likely to get, in points, from your form. It will then mean you know what to put and where to put it on the form.
Ring Age UK I found them very helpful. Edited to say if you are 50 or over.
I have to say I agree compltely with FReedman, I did this with my PIP application and had absolutely no problems, I qualified for the higher rated on both components and was back paid for 6 months. Good Luck ❤️
Citizens advice they are very good good luck hugs x
Best support I ever had was I subscribed was like 15 a month I think for a few months to fightback for justice they also do free help too on a person by person thing so I wd phone or email. If yu give them enough notice they will do form for you and post it to yu they may be in your area and do drop ins . This wasn’t case for me. It’s pricey if yu need an advocacy to go to a medical if yu live a distance I had paperbased so didn’t need it in the end.
I use Fightback4justice they have a website and a Facebook page. They won my tribunal in 2014 for DLA and when I had to apply for PIP because DLA was being stopped they completed my forms for me and attended my face 2 face interview which was at my home, I got my award for PIP without having to appeal. I paid expenses to Fightback4Justice because they are a donations run charity and it was worth it for peace if mind. Good luck whichever route you choose to go down. Google Fightback4Justice to read their reviews. Hugs misty xx
healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., morning ive posted the HU link above , there is a helpline open during the week to speak to Janet our benefits advisor, I hope you get this sorted soon and take care xx
CAB, a welfare rights officer, some council house tenants can get help from someone, if you are over a certain age it seems to vary from Age UK offices some have an Advice Officer. If you can't get help I used the Benefit and Works site as their guides are fabulous. I believe our own advisor Janet has access of these for free but if not they are certainly worth the subscription as they take you through it step by step. Turn2Us are also good. Hope you are successful.x
Hello remember pip is not awarded on illnesses, disability or a diagnosis but on your abilities to function, preform the descriptors in a safe, repeatable and timely manner for most of your daily life. If you are unable to do, preform a descriptor then give examples of what happens when you attempt, try to do the descriptor you are writing about. Having an understanding of the descriptors will should help you fill in your application form.
Please call the Benefits Helpline 0300 999 0055 either tomorrow Wednesday and speak to Louise or Friday and speak to me - I also do Monday - the times are between 10am and 12 noon.

Where did your reply to me disappear to lol
LOL what are you like, I read it in my email though, no spelling errors mate …. perhaps the fact that it was "the best advice on here" was a bit strong eh. I believe in choices I am glad mine worked for me... I tried Benefits and Work in 2013 - didn't work for me, but then Michelle Cardno the wonderful Lawyer who works tirelessly for the disabled came along and 18 months later won my case at a gruelling tribunal which was in the depths of me mourning the loss of my hubby... I think the FMAUK helpline could be invaluable too for us Fibro Warriors.. all the best Misty
I agree and we are lucky to have these people to help when the stress of form filling kicks in. I am just out of hospital after surgery and feeling very delicate so thanks, just a restful week. Have a good week yourself Misty
