Hi all hope you are all not too bad. Well like I said I would I'm keeping you up to date so letter came through yesterday only giving me standard rate living for pip when I was on enhanced and absolutely nothing for mobility. In the letter the assessor explained I can walk for more than 50 metres. I can plan a route. I don't get confused and so on. It's funny as none of those things can i do as I told the lady at the atos appointment 😲I'm so cross none of this was put down. Straight away I booked an appointment with my local gp who I asked for a Health Report that would be done by early next week he couldn't believe my score and what was put. I also phoned the Pip people up and told them I wanted a Mandatory Reconsideration they said someone would ring me in 24 hours or within 5 days πŸ˜’mmmm. Meanwhile I will get my psychiatric report done Dr's letter and anything else I can find. I was so sick last night how dare they lie and tell us what we can do when we can't. Just don't need this my pain is even worse this morning through all this stress 😧😦😩😠. Sorry to go on 😩I'm tired now going to rest.

HI

Please make sure MR is done in writing as they are phoning people and doing it over the phone ,ask for a copy of your assessment report so you know exactly what they are basing their judgement on .

Ensure any information from GP states what your mobility problems are and how it effects you its not enough just to say what illnesses you have.

I am sure you are aware of this

Get as much help as you can Care Manager ,Support Worker CAB, Disability Rights

Good Luck

Rose

Thank you will do πŸ€—

It's time these assessments were done by your own healthcare team they don't seem to care what they say i got standed mobility after walking from my chair to the living room door 12 steps in all in my form I stated I can't walk without pain regular repeatedly or safely as l stumble on curbs I even had doctors letter to back this up I am being reassessed in a year as they say it is to make sure I get the correct awards as my condition could change and people are going to be assessed more often I hope things go well for you I got my first award overturned from 4 points to 8 so don't give up

Let's be honest the new system stinks how disabled do people have to be to get a just award? As Rose54 says get a copy of your report in writing as we know from my husband's ESA assessment that so many mistakes are made. Good luck with everything.x

Same happened to me. I had the mobility part taken away. Iv had my mandatory review over the phone and the questions they asked are so confusing I am lucky enough my mum can speak on my behalf as I get so confused. I’m still waiting to hear and it makes me so anxious waiting to hear actually the whole process is stressful. Good luck and hope you get the mobility back x
