Pip review

I sent off my pip review form in February, adding worsened symptoms. my current award ends in a month and I've had letters about my bus pass and parking permit due to expire, so I contacted pip today , I was it's waiting to be seen by the case manager and a 12 month auto extension hasn't been added on yet but there is a deadline for end of next month. Just wondering if the case manager part is end stages, I can't renew bus pass or parking pass until I have new proof, don't fancy having to reapply for bus pass all over again if this one runs out before they send me proof letter. 🙄

Yes my last proof letter was few years ago with end date next month so by the time my new bus pass application goes through my proof letter will be out of date. Yes I will ring again next week

Hiya, I just been in similar situation myself. I waited for review to be done for 12 months. I'm not joking. I got my decision letter after 12 months. In between my blue badge expired and they won't touch it ( deal with it) until the PIP was done. So all I can say , patience and I wouldn't bother them as it doesn't make no difference. You will get it when it comes to you. I'm sorry for not being able to help you more. Take care 🙂.

Thankyou, yes it's just a waiting game, just going to forget about it til I hear, I know they have a back log so nothing I can do about my blue badge and bus pass.

Ps I was asked by bluebage people to take photos of old badge and that was enough proof

Hello I was and still waiting for renewal of pip with change of issues but when my bus pass and blue badge needed renewing I emailed and rang explaining situation and they have system that they can check with dwp about the pip etc I got both renewed without new paperwork hope you get same result ps I got year extension to pip but I think may have enough points awarded to enhanced daily comp now but frustrating as if awarded will we get uprate backdated because it's a lot of difference
