So, last night my husband opts for Kebabs for tea and we walk out to the car. The bin men have left the bins in the road so he waves me to the car and says it is unlocked. He returns to find me sitting in the driver's seat, seat belt on, but no idea what I am doing. My excuses include that I had been driving my own car earlier and that he had parked the 'wrong way round' so I got in the side I usually get in. Just don't ask why I hadn't figured out I was facing the wrong way, or how I failed to notice the large black wheel right in my lap! It's a Fibro thing! Certainly gave me a laugh, but I guess everyone I live with is looking at care homes right now.

Iv been forgetting thinks some one phone up to day are me my hubby name I can no rember it but it did come back to me been getting a lot wrong for a few weeks I was like this just before Xmas my hubbie sed you my forgot who you married to I sed don't say that I am scared he sed he was joking I new he was but still scared you x

The dreaded fog! The brain just seizes. I have never become used to it but now I just laugh and pretend I am an eccentric old women. I often set off in the car and turn in the wrong direction. I blame it on the satnav - which, of course, I do not have. Just remember that its ok and that you are not going mad but just have a touch of the fibro.
