DLA TO PIP

iam in the process of moving from DLA To PIP , not sure if iam having another medical yet , in process of forms which iam being helped with .

would like to hear about other peoples experience of how things went for them .

My son went from DLA to PIP last year - slightly different as he has different health issues (autism, dyspraxia and learning disabilities). He was also changing from child claim to adult claim just to add to the fun.

It went really well although I was anxious about it all. Had a home visit for the assessment and he went though the questions on the form again asking for more info - or checking I said the same thing twice ..

We actually went from middle rate personal and low rate mobility to enhanced rate for both ... don't know if that's because of different qualifying factors or because his need was more serious as he was now adult? Probably a bit of both.
