I hope, your all coping today with your conditions. I have just been to have an assessment for re-hab. They have told me that now I a, wearing a foot splint and wrist splint I might have to accept that I have passed the point were they can improve my comdtion? Has anyone else had re-had assessment and come away feeling so negative?
I came out in tears. Have to go back next week as I was to upset to do anything today. I can't walk without help and can't use mt right side at all, have carers coming In and my husband helping me day and night. He is exhausted and we have asked for extra support for him.
I try to remain positive but really thought I would get better

Sorry I also wanted to add I do understand that having fibro and CFS! Days for us can vary everyday day but for some reason I seemed to have gone for this assessment maybe with to much hope?
Hi there Waterbottle, I hope that your rehab will be helpful to you come. I know you must feel so down right now but there will always be somebody to talk to and help you to accept that things don't always happen as we would like but we learn to make the best of things. I have fibromyalgia, depression & osteo-athritis - the latter causing me problems with my balance. It has taken around 2 years to get the Doctors to take me seriously, as I had a fall at the Health Spa where I broke my ankle, one of many tumbles recently. I went for x-rays on my hips yesterday and will discuss the results with my Doctor when they come through. At the moment my physiotherapist comes to my home and I can now get up and downstairs with supervision. She was very patient showing me how to use the crutches and I can get out of the house to the car and back on them now. Still waiting for a bath seat so I can get a shower, as not had one since my accident on 16th January at the Health Spa just after a relaxing massage would you believe. It was my christmas/birthday present from my husband and was wonderful until I got off the table and fell down the step! Enough about me, my daughter called NHS direct to ask about what help I could get and things happened pretty quickly after that. If you aren't getting any answers you could always try that too, just a thought. I will pray for you and am sending healing hugs your way. Take care. Julia xx
It was a requested from the care manager if they feel you need one they will get an appointment but this was asked for in November 2015 I have only just reached the top of the list
I am so genuinely sorry to read this and I sincerely hope that you can benefit from the outcome? I know the feeling as I have been to a few medical appointments and had a similar outcome. I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck. Please take care of yourself.
