Wow what a coincidence...Fluffy your not crazy or weird at all.this just happened to me almost exactly the same.I ended up calling an ambulance @7:30 am this morning.
Started effexor last night at bedtime ..when I awoke well opened my eyes this morning my neck was broke out in hives ....I took a benadryl thinking allergic reaction...about five minutes after I started to have a vibrating feeling in my chest down my legs and thought I gotta go to the hospital very scary...so I go ..while waiting developed it in my back and shoulders going half way down my arms...I had two ecgs and both were normal blood work and that was all fine..Dr said it could be the effexor which sometimes causes muscle stiffness and parenthesis..but recommended I stay on it he didn't think it was really from the effexor.
He pretty much chalked it up to the fibro...he said many of the feelings I'm having is related....gave me maalox and tecta.
Said he ruled out the heart and sent me on my way.good news but still no answers my chest felt like I had a massive infection now or a major cold ..oh well.hopefully will clear up real soon..
Not a nice feeling ..I'm on vibrate all over back shoulders and legs..
Hope you are all genuinely Feeling well.
Any suggestions welcome..or if has happened to others .
Thanks .

I am so genuinely sorry that you also had the same experience that fluffy had and I sincerely hope that it does not happen to you again. I think if the doctor thought it was the medication then he would have told you to stop taking them immediately?
It is not something that I have experienced, not in the same way as you and fluffy. I have had it in a small region around the head (prior to a migraine) and in my upper leg (prior to my sciatica playing up) but nothing more. The only vibrating feeling I have ever had in my chest is when I have too much of my Ventolin and it gives me palpitations but that is slightly different.
I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck.
